Winter Ruins
Relics from a bygone age, these ruins may have once been a sort of temple or shrine. Faded white stone forms a rough structure of what used to be. The standing walls are cool to the touch, a good place to play hide-and-seek as long as you don't mind the aura of faint malice hanging over the structures. What these ruins once were may never be known, but there is an odd fact about one of the least-dilapidated buildings. On the sunset of the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, a sunbeam shines through an opening at the top of the entryway, illuminating a statue on the far wall. This statue, despite being cracked and eroded, is still recognizable as a wolflike creature with chips of strange, ice-blue gemstones for eyes.
