No New Posts Borealis Mountain

Located at the northernmost tip of the Moonlight Woods, this mountain stands proud and tall, visible for miles. At night, the northern lights can sometimes be seen above it's snowcapped peak. Despite it's beauty, this mountain is unable to sustain life and is only visited during pack rituals. It is the sacred ground of the Northern Pack.

No New Posts Northern Lupis River

What starts as a trickle of meltwater in the mountains joins together to eventually form a rushing river. The river flows down the entirety of the Woods, forming Bison Lake, then ending in the ocean far to the south. The part of the river north of Bison Lake is seen as the territory of the North pack. The water is cool and home to many small kinds of fish. Rapids can occur, so be careful.

No New Posts Greypine Forest

Stately pines mix with birch trees to form a massive forest on the west side of the Lupis River. Many prey animals can be found here, along with the Northern rendezvous site, where the den is located and the wolves stay when they are resting.

No New Posts Windswept Hills

On the east side of the Lupis River are rolling, grassy slopes dotted with ponds. Larger, swifter prey is found here, along with many kinds of rodents. As you go farther in, the hills flatten, and a few twisted dead trees can be seen, along with large boulders. However, secreted away in the crags are the mysterious Winter Ruins.

No New Posts Bison Lake

Named for the herds of large game often found here, Bison Lake serves as neutral ground, a place for packs to meet without conflict. The pebbled shore of the lake gives way to rich grassy meadows, then finally the ever-present forest. The mountains to the east and west can just be seen in the distance, creating a picture-perfect scene.

No New Posts Lelera Meadow

Ringed by trees, the west side of the Southern Lupis River is home to the South Rendezvous site, along with grassy plains that feed prey like elk and deer. The open meadow is dangerous for pups, but as long as they stay near their den they will be fine. The meadow is known for the multitudes of wildflowers that bloom here in the spring.

No New Posts Wild Forest

"Wild" describes this stretch of Moonlight Woods perfectly. Green, humid, and vibrant, it is prime hunting territory for the Southern wolves. The only drawback is that it becomes marshy in places, harboring mosquitoes, alligators, and vicious snapping turtles. A wolf can loose a paw or other assorted body part in these swamps. The safer areas of Wild Forest are usually full of moss and deciduous trees, becoming somewhat barren in the winter. Springs flow freely here, nourishing the plants, which in turn nourish prey in the warm months. One section of swamp holds a dark secret though; the Decayed Tower.

No New Posts Southern Lupis River

The southern stretch of the river is broader and shallower then it's northern counterpart. Yearlings are free to chase minnows and crayfish through the shallows, good luck catching any though. Many animals come to drink here, making it a good area for prey.

No New Posts Shimmer Ocean

Shimmer Ocean is a breath taking sight. The pinkish sand glimmers, but if you look at the ocean, it's nothing compared to it. The green blue color of the sea froths at the edges of waves as they crash onto shore, leaving miscellaneous pebbles, shells, driftwood, seaweed, and the occasional fish. The sun glints off the surface, and it seems as though someone threw all the stars onto the ocean. The water is always cool in the summer, and warm in the winter, making it an ideal place to swim.

No New Posts Death Forest

Death Forest is really creepy. Black pines cover the sun, and you can see almost nothing. Creepy animals roam the area, and danger is around every corner. There is not much safety, but you can still find some if you put your mind to it.

No New Posts Clawmark Canyon

What looks like a jagged scar on the land is actually thriving with small life. A spring-fed stream winds it's way down the canyon, creating a place of desert beauty. Wildflowers and small twisted trees bloom in clumps, and lizards, foxes, and insects can be found here. Miniscule fish inhabit the pools, not worthwhile hunting. But beware, for the canyon is also home to venomous rattlesnakes and scorpions.

No New Posts Ageless Plains

A massive savannah that just seems to go on an on. Located outside the valley, it is home to herds of deer and other plains animals, and dotted with ponds and springs. One must be careful not to get turned around here, lest they never find their way out of the endless sea of grass.
